‘Week’ – “set of days” …. Dr Walter Exposed
To try to reason against unreasonableness about the
‘week’, mostly ….

The Sabbath was instituted by God in Genesis 2:2-3
BEFORE there was a jew on the face of the earth. It was
“made for [the] man” and it was “made” by Christ as the
Creator of man (Mark 2:27-28).
It was “sanctified” by God or SEPARATED from the
rest of the previous six days by God and it was “blessed” by
God in contradistinction from the previous six days.
Therefore, it was not “made” for man “just as the other six
days were made” for man. No, it was “made” distinct from the
other six days.
The original Sabbath commemorated a SINLESS
creation where God could say “very good” and this SINLESS
creation was based upon CONTINUANCE IN GOOD
WORKS by Adam and Eve. Grace and mercy have nothing to
do with this first creation and when sin entered in, the whole
creation was no longer “very good” but corrupted and defiled
by sin and reserved for destruction by fire at the end of the
SEVENTH millennium.

GE:
The “original Sabbath”, “commemorated”, nothing; God
INSTITUTED it first

Resurrection on the Sabbath or on Sunday?
…. with regard to Visits at the tomb

DW:
John 20:19 and Acts 20:7 are not the only references to the church
meeting on the Lord’s Day – Sunday. In addition to those quotations
are John 20:29; Acts 2:1 and 1 Cor. 16:1-2.

GE:
“…the Lord’s Day – Sunday” — Not only ‘wrong’, but FALSE!
“…the church meeting on …. Sunday” Please SHOW in
“John 20:29”;
“Acts 2:1” or,
“1 Cor. 16:1-2” ….. please QUOTE!

DW:
…. John makes it as clear as language can make it that this
assembling was on the first day of the week not the second day of the
week. With this over emphasis of language to prove it is the first day
of the week, “even” only means late afternoon not the second day of
the week.”

GE:
Which ‘over emphasis of language’?
Quote where “John makes it clear …. “even” only means late
afternoon”?
Quote where “John makes it clear …. “it is the first day of the week ….
not the second day of the week”?
Quote where “1 Cor. 16:1-2”, makes it clear, “this assembling was”,
on the first day?
Of course you cannot. Because John and Luke make it clear as
common language can that ‘it’ — the disciples “having been thronged
together still” — while it must have been after sunset and “IT
2
BEING” – by now – AFTER, “VESPERS” Lk24:29 and no longer
“afternoon” or “towards ‘vespers’”; and day had had “declined”-
‘kekliken’ fully already and was not ‘declining’ any longer and
“BEING EVENING” (‘ousehes opsias’) Jn20:19 AFTER sunset and
‘day’- ‘hehmera’ HAD HAD begun its next cycle—
that then: as John says “THEN (‘OUN’) having been (‘ousehs’) on
_THAT_ ‘EKEINEHI miai (hehmerai)’ — which RELATIVE
PRONOUN REFERS TO: _ “THAT” _ PAST, and “First Day of the
week” (Sunday). It does not say ‘BEING on the First Day’; it says
“being EVENING REFERRING TO the First Day of the week”: “the
EVENING” RELATIVE to “THAT day”.
Just like to this day we refer BACK FROM the ‘evening’ to the PAST
and no longer current, day.

Modesto:
We know that Lamb of God Died hours before the Sabbath
day, because the bible says the woman rested according to the 4th
commandment… Luk 23:54 That DAY was the “PREPARATION”,
and the “SABBATH (Day)” drew near.

Gerhard Ebersöhn:
This, this, this …!! Tells it all! HOW, for heaven’s sake, does
anyone in the world answer something like this?! “We know that
Lamb of God Died hours before the Sabbath day, because the bible
says the woman rested according to the 4th commandment” And
THAT, is what I have to answer, every day of my life … half a
century’s EVERY, EVERY, day! O HELP me! O give me GRACE
o God.
If THAT were what “the bible says”, then I am right, and
“the bible” is WRONG!

MG:
The Bible is clear that Jesus was crucified on the
PASSOVER, Friday, then buried later that (Friday) afternoon or
evening before the Sabbath (Saturday) began

GE:
Behold, mine adversaries! Consider the greatness of their
wisdom!
Yes, the Bible IS, CLEAR, that Jesus was crucified and died
“on the day they always killed the passover”. The Bible is JUST as
CLEAR, “Jesus then was buried” AFTER, “it had become
EVENING”— “evening” AFTER Our Passover had been killed,
and “evening” BEFORE Joseph “came there”. The Bible is JUST
as CLEAR, “Jesus then was buried” in the sense of “laid” and
“closed” in the grave, three quarters of the night and three quarters
2
of the day “later that (Friday) afternoon … before the Sabbath
(Saturday) began”. THAT— the “evening” and what ensued
AFTER “it had become evening already”— THAT, is clearly just
SILENCED as if anyone could slap God’s mouth shut! “From
evening unto evening shall ye celebrate your sabbaths …” “…
for that day was great day sabbath” BEFORE Joseph even
“went unto Pilate and begged the body of Jesus …” or “… took
it down …” or “… wrapped it in linen …” or “… LAID it in a
sepulchre …” or, “… it THAT DAY was the Sabbath
APPROACHING.”
